Parent Participation

When you enroll your child at Tender Years Cooperative Preschool, you are also enrolling yourself. The success of our school depends upon the interest, cooperation and participation of all parents.

For a parent to enroll his/her child, the parent must be willing to do the following:

          l Complete the orientation program.

l Participate as teacher's assistant 1 or 2 times per month.

            This includes the following:

                - Assist children with classroom activities.

                - Provide a snack or a drink.

                - Maintain the cleanliness of the classrooms.

l Hold a job position and serve on one committee.

l Committees include babysitting and housekeeping.

l Participate in fund raising activities.

l Comply with all health rules and State licensing regulations.

l Attend 2 mandatory parent meetings (one in October and one

            in January).

l Pay tuition when due (the first class day of each month).

l Have child daytime potty trained before first day of school.

l Develop respect and appreciation for the importance of parenting.
