Tender Years Events

Shaw Pumpkin Farm

This field Trip takes place in October. Both 3’s and 4’s classes enjoy a visit to Shaw Pumpkin Farm, located at Rte 131 in Milford, Ohio. The children learn about different types of seeds and farm animals. They also go on a hay ride and pick out their own pumpkins.

Annual Reverse Raffle/Silent Auction Fundraising Event

This event takes place on February 7, 2009 at Oasis Golf Club & Conference Center.  Tickets include dinner for two, drinks, and a chance to win the $1000 grand prize.  In addition, many prizes will be given throughout the Reverse Raffle.  The Silent Auction, sideboards, games and a 50/50 raffle offer more fun and chances to win.

Family Fun Night

This event takes place in March. It is an opportunity for all current Tender Years Families to come together for a fun-filled evening of games, good food, and entertainment.

Special Person’s Night

This event takes place in April. This is a wonderful opportunity for our Tender Years students to invite a special person, such as a family member, adult friend, etc., to come spend an evening at their school. The student and their special friend will participate together in a shortened version of the school day, which includes a fun art activity and special snack.

Mother’s Day Tea

This event takes place in May. In honor of Mother’s Day, the children invite their mother (or grandmother) to school for a special Mother’s Day Tea in which they serve special foods they have prepared themselves.

3’s End of Year Celebration

This event takes place in May. Families from the 3-year old classes are invited to celebrate the end of their child’s first year of preschool with a short party, which includes a presentation of certificates of completion.

4’s Graduation

This event takes place in May. Families from the 4-year old classes are invited to the preschool graduation, in which a cap & gown ceremony will take place. A short party will follow after the presentation of awards & diplomas.

End of Year Picnic

This event takes place in May. All current and incoming Tender Years families are invited to Miami Riverview Park for a fun-filled time to say goodbye to those preschoolers who have just graduated and say hello to our new incoming members.
